The Juan March Foundation has launched an exhibition dedicated to one of the most important figures in post-war European art and a pioneer of New Realism, Yves Klein. Through more than twenty paintings and three-dimensional pieces, the exhibition explores his most iconic series, from the monochromes to the Anthropometries and the iconic Klein blue pigment pool.
Featuring works from the Archives Yves Klein, the IVAM and the Reina Sofía Museum, the exhibition explores the concept of colour as a sensory and spiritual experience, as well as the artist’s relationship with Spain during the 1950s.
