Organised by Art Palma Contemporani, Nit de l’Art 2026 celebrates its 30th anniversary as one of Mallorca’s leading cultural events. The celebration will take place on 19 September in Palma’s Plaça de l’Olivar, from 6 pm to 11 pm, with activities and events hosted by galleries, institutions and partner venues across the city.

The event dates back to September 1997, when gallery owners Pep Pinya and Xavier Fiol launched an initiative that brought together Palma’s galleries, opening their doors to the public until midnight. In doing so, Palma became the first city in Europe to celebrate a “Nit de l’Art” (Art Night).

To mark three decades of the event, the 2026 edition will offer an extensive programme of exhibitions, cultural projects and free guided tours in several languages, among other activities. Taking place across different parts of Palma, the event invites visitors to explore the city through art.

The full programme and specific timetables for each venue will be announced in September.
