
Club de Mar Mallorca welcomes “Monaco and Spain: Five Centuries of Shared History”, an exhibition exploring the enduring historical, cultural and diplomatic links between the two countries. Presented to mark the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Spain and the Principality of Monaco, the exhibition traces the people, events and connections that have shaped this relationship from the 16th century to the present day.
A carefully curated selection of historical documents, photographs, reproductions and interpretive materials reveals how this shared story has developed over more than five hundred years. The exhibition highlights the institutional, cultural and family ties that have brought Monaco and Spain closer together, offering an accessible and engaging insight into their changing roles on the European stage.
Open to the public at Club de Mar Mallorca until 6 August 2026, the exhibition offers residents and visitors the chance to discover a fascinating chapter of European history in the exceptional setting of Palma’s harbour.
