The friendship between Ignacio Zuloaga and Hermen Anglada-Camarasa is reflected in the letters they exchanged over the years. These writings offer a deeper insight into their work and their vision of art. They first met at the 1900 Paris Exposition, where they were already making a name for themselves as artists. From then on, they maintained a friendship characterised by regular meetings and constant correspondence. In their letters, they shared opinions, advice, and reflections on the creative process and their personal lives.

This exhibition brings together twenty-four works, twelve by each painter, allowing visitors to compare their artistic similarities and differences. Both depicted popular themes in Paris at the time, such as female models (majas), gypsy women, and landscapes, and both were influenced by impressionism and post-impressionism. However, their styles reveal distinctly different, personal approaches to their art.
