Palma transforms into an authentic Miró landscape: the places that marked Joan Miró’s first artistic steps during his childhood now serve as the setting for a grand celebration of his legacy.
“The Magic Spark” is the centerpiece of an ambitious project titled Paysage Miró, developed in collaboration with the Reina Sofía National Museum and Successió Miró. This initiative brings together four key contemporary art spaces in Palma, each offering a unique perspective on the artist’s work:
La Llotja, where you can admire his imposing bronze sculptures with dark patinas, full of solemnity.
Es Baluard Museum, highlighting Miró’s revolutionary spirit and his significance as a pioneering figure in contemporary painting.
Casal Solleric, which delves into the dialogue between painting and sculpture within the artist’s creative universe.
Fundación Pilar and Joan Miró Mallorca, a place closely connected to their life and artistic work on the island.
Together, these institutions weave a shared experience: a broad and enriching vision of Miró’s world, where Palma becomes the grand stage for his art.
