Academia 1830 is a musical association founded in 2011 with the clear mission of promoting and bringing the great classical music repertoire closer to audiences across the Balearic Islands. With a strong artistic and educational focus, the organization supports concerts, multidisciplinary projects and educational initiatives that highlight both the richness of European musical heritage and contemporary creativity.
At the heart of Academia 1830 lies a permanent ensemble formed by its own orchestra and choir. This setup allows the group to perform a wide range of repertoire, from purely instrumental pieces to large-scale vocal works, either separately or combined. This versatility has made the association a key player in the Balearic classical music scene.
Artistic direction is led by Fernando Marina, who has established a solid and high-quality approach, fostering collaborations with renowned soloists, composers, and ensembles at both local and international levels.
