Accessible bathing points
The municipality of Palma has 6 accessible assisted bathing points on different beaches
Each assisted bathing point is equipped with a shaded area, accessible showers and toilets, support materials for users (chairs, wheelchairs, water wheelchairs, crutches, etc.), and is open during the dates and times set.
The points also have care staff who will provide assistance to users.
The care staff will provide the necessary help to transfer individuals to wheelchairs and/or water wheelchairs, and to accompany users to the water safely.
Users are encouraged to bring along someone who can help them together with the care staff when wheelchair transfers are being made.
If you come alone, the care staff will undertake transfer while upholding all pertinent COVID-19 safety measures. The staff members who provide this service have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Assistance stations, toilets, and showers are cleaned and disinfected every hour and fifteen minutes. There is a cleaning and disinfection log available.
