The exhibition Los hilos conductores. Textiles andinos y artistas contemporáneas (Connecting Threads: Andine Textiles and Contemporary Women Artists) explores the Andean textile tradition from its origins to the present day, showing how weaving conveys the memory, identity and knowledge of different communities.
From 12 November to 6 February, the Fundación Juan March will host this exhibition, where visitors can discover historical pieces alongside works by contemporary women artists who reinterpret traditional techniques and knowledge. This exhibition brings together art, culture and society, highlighting the role of women weavers and the enduring relevance of a tradition that continues to evolve.
