The exhibition The Green Berets of the Balearic Islands – Special Operations Company 101-7 pays tribute to a historic unit of the Spanish Army. This unit was created in 1969 under the name of COE 101 in Palma de Mallorca and later became COE 7 in 1988. The acronym COE stands for Compañía de Operaciones Especiales, or Special Operations Company in English.

It earned a reputation for excellence in training and special operations over a period of 27 years. Over 2,000 young people participated in training and various stages of preparation within the company. Visitors to the exhibition will find explanatory panels detailing their missions and training methods. The exhibition includes models that recreate key raids and ambushes. Actual training material and equipment used by the unit is also on display. The exhibition is held at the Centre of Military History and Culture of the Balearic Islands.
