CaixaForum Palma hosts the first joint exhibition of Javier and Rafa Forteza, two creators who, from distinct yet parallel paths, explore the limits of the image, the enigma of the face, and the power of abstraction.

Their works reveal androgynous faces and ambiguous forms that invite introspection, balancing between pain and calm, memory and suggestion. While Javier presents mobile faces charged with emotion, Rafa crystallizes matter on abstract surfaces where raw canvas and repetition become poetic language. Both artists open a symbolic space for emotion, strangeness, and uncertainty.
