By 2023, Sara Correia has become a true fado sensation. She has toured the world, released two acclaimed albums praised by critics and awarded by the industry, and even received a Latin Grammy nomination. She’s performed for European institutions and surrounded herself with some of the finest songwriters of her time. For Sara, fado is home. “Everything has happened naturally,” she says modestly.

Her latest album, Liberdade, is the result of this freedom. Created with her longtime producer Diogo Clemente, it’s an album deeply rooted in the melodic language of fado, yet enriched by subtle textures from other genres. A soulful, coherent and powerful musical statement.
