The exhibition Paysage Miró. Colour and Its Shadow invites visitors to immerse themselves in the creative world of Joan Miró through the interplay between his paintings and sculptures. The selection includes bronze sculptures, paintings, and works on paper, offering a non-linear journey through his artistic evolution.
Special focus is placed on his sculptural work from the 1960s onwards, featuring totemic figures and assemblages made from found objects—reflecting his fascination with folk art and the primitive. These works are paired with paintings that evoke mystery, symbolism, and ancestral themes.
This exhibition is part of Paysage Miró, a collaborative project with the Reina Sofía Museum, shown across four major contemporary art venues in Palma: La Llotja, Es Baluard Museum, Fundació Miró Mallorca and Casal Solleric. Each space offers a unique perspective, forming a shared artistic landscape.
