Ainhoa Arteta is one of the world’s most celebrated sopranos. She has the rare gift of drawing inspiration from even the smallest details. Having performed in the greatest opera houses around the globe, she has always stayed true to her Spanish heritage—something deeply present in the passion and emotional depth of her voice. Her debut as Mimí in Puccini’s La Bohème was a major challenge, especially on the prestigious stage of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions in New York. She succeeded with distinction, and that success—alongside her prize at the Concours International de Voix d’Opéra in Paris—marked the beginning of a stellar career.

She now returns to the stage with a recital of Spanish song, accompanied by Mallorcan pianist Francesc Blanco.
