Piotr Alexewicz is regarded as one of the leading pianists of his generation. He began his musical studies at the Karol Lipi\u0144ski Academy of Music in Wroc\u0142aw under Pawe\u0142 Zawadzki, later continuing at the Zurich University of the Arts with Professor Konstantin Scherbakov. <\/p>\n
In 2025, he was awarded second prize at the Hilton Head International Piano Competition in the United States, reinforcing his rising international career. He also won the Prof. Zbigniew Drzewiecki Prize at the 18th International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw and twice triumphed at Poland\u2019s National Chopin Competition.<\/p>\n
Internationally, he secured the Grand Prize, Audience Award and Musicdeco Prize at the Ville de Gagny Competition in Paris, as well as second prize at the Dinu Lipatti Youth Music Competition in Bucharest.<\/p>\n
In 2024, he performed Brahms\u2019 Piano Concerto in D minor, op.\u202f15 with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra under Miguel Harth-Bedoya, winning the Texas Piano Academy Concerto Competition. That same year, he was among the three winners of Switzerland\u2019s prestigious Schenk Competition, also receiving all the special awards. <\/p>\n
He has released numerous recordings, including a debut album in 2019 featuring works by Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, and Ravel, and is preparing a new release for 2025 with Chopin\u2019s Sonata in B-flat minor, op. 35, recorded with the Warsaw Symphony Orchestra.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
