SUMMARY:THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA
DESCRIPTION:HISTORY OF THE WORK\nThe Phantom of the Opera was first published in 1910 as a novel by the French writer Gaston Leroux. This story is inspired by legendary tales and rumours that spread about the Palais Garnier in Paris. Over time\, the story was adapted for theatre\, cinema and\, most notably\, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s famous musical (1986). The musical turned the play into a worldwide phenomenon. They will be touring throughout Spain during the 2025–2026 season. Don’t miss them when they come to Palma! \nSHORT SYNOPSIS\nAt the Paris Opera\, a young singer named Christine Daaé begins to rise to fame thanks to the advice of a mysterious figure who lives hidden beneath the theatre: the Phantom. He is a musical genius with a disfigured face who becomes obsessively enamoured with her. While Christine is torn between her secret mentor and her childhood sweetheart\, Raoul\, the Phantom unleashes a series of disturbing incidents. These events combine passion\, jealousy and tragedy\, revealing that even in the darkest corners\, there can be a heart that only seeks to be loved. \nFor more information about the show\, ticket sales and discounts\, click here.

SUMMARY:DESOKUPADOS - ANDREU FULLANA
DESCRIPTION:Desokupados is a topical comedy about eviction\, squatters and family secrets that unfold in real time during a dramatic showdown. One family faces the threat of losing their home as long-hidden truths come to light. Juan tries to save his shady business dealings with the help of an unorthodox lawyer. María and her cousin Carmen struggle with financial insecurity\, half-truths and a home on the brink of collapse. Tension causes lovers’ quarrels\, hidden identities and unexpected alliances. \nNo one is who they seem to be in this comedy about housing and family crisis. Between biting humour and old-fashioned entanglements\, the play transforms social drama into a crazy comedy. Family\, desire and money clash relentlessly in a tale as timely as it is explosive. When everything falls into place\, the women take control\, the masks come off and someone is left\, literally\, with nowhere to hide. \nThe show will be in Spanish. \nTo buy your ticket\, simply click here. SUMMARY:50 D'ANYS D'MEMOCRÀCIA
DESCRIPTION:50 d’anys d’memocràcia is Toni Albà’s satirical comedy reviewing five decades of democracy in Spain through humour. The play is told from the King’s perspective as he prepares to deliver a speech celebrating and commemorating Franco’s death. \nSYNOPSIS\nThe lead character is an exiled king who must return home to attend an official ceremony and deliver a solemn speech. During rehearsals\, the event’s technical team feeds him constant instructions through an earpiece. However\, things get complicated when the character proves incapable of following the script. The contrast between official protocol and his behaviour leads to absurd and highly comical situations. \nPolitical satire\, slapstick humour and improvisation are all part of the show. The play’s ironic approach reflects on collective memory and the evolution of democracy. The title playfully combines the Catalan word for “democracy” (democracia) with the word for “fool” (memo)\, lending a critical yet humorous edge to the show. \nDon’t miss out on this great play.
