The exhibition highlights the institutional\, cultural and family ties that have brought Monaco and Spain closer together\, offering an accessible and engaging insight into their changing roles on the European stage.  \nOpen to the public at Club de Mar Mallorca until 6 August 2026\, the exhibition offers residents and visitors the chance to discover a fascinating chapter of European history in the exceptional setting of Palma’s harbour. SUMMARY:"Floresta" Exhibition by Maria Lluïsa Aguiló
DESCRIPTION:Floresta came into being in 2020\, in the hush of lockdown\, when an unforeseen stillness slowed the restless pulse of the world. Compelled by an enduring need to create\, Maria Lluïsa Aguiló began with the attentive contemplation of a flower called the cyclamen whose poised and delicate movement evokes the liberated dances of Loie Fuller and Isadora Duncan.  \nFrom that quiet act of looking blossomed several series\, each devoted to a single flower\, unfolding through shifting positions and variations. Over time\, the project opened outwards\, as people began sending the artist images of flowers\, which she returned to them transfigured into paintings. And so the garden grows\, day after day: each piece becomes a private\, meditative rite\, painted with the artist’s thoughts turned towards the person who offered the flower. What takes shape is a luminous universe of sensitive forms and expanding natural microcosms\, gathering into thousands of floral presences.

DESCRIPTION:Ugo Ricciardi’s photographic work focuses on the exploration of spaces imbued with historical\, spiritual and architectural significance. Through his camera\, the artist explores the relationship between human beings\, the natural environment and the ancestral memory that inhabits certain places.   \nThis exploration gave rise to Notturni\, a series begun in 2015 that brings together photographs taken under moonlight in different locations around the world. In these images\, nocturnal illumination transforms landscapes and structures into settings of great poetic intensity\, where the symbolic dimension and mysterious character of each place acquire an almost tangible presence.

DESCRIPTION:The exhibition The Green Berets of the Balearic Islands – Special Operations Company 101-7 pays tribute to a historic unit of the Spanish Army. This unit was created in 1969 under the name of COE 101 in Palma de Mallorca and later became COE 7 in 1988. The acronym COE stands for Compañía de Operaciones Especiales\, or Special Operations Company in English.   \nIt earned a reputation for excellence in training and special operations over a period of 27 years. Over 2\,000 young people participated in training and various stages of preparation within the company. Visitors to the exhibition will find explanatory panels detailing their missions and training methods. The exhibition includes models that recreate key raids and ambushes. Actual training material and equipment used by the unit is also on display. The exhibition is held at the Centre of Military History and Culture of the Balearic Islands.      \nAdmission is free for anyone who wishes to attend. Voices\, whispers\, sounds\, everyday objects and materials such as lime\, tin\, wool and felt are related to organs\, prostheses and gestures to release language from its representative function.   \nThe works evoke voids\, interruptions and fractures of knowledge in a world saturated with information\, giving shape to the unspeakable\, the excluded and the incomprehensible.
