In the heart of Palma, in Plaça de Cort, where the Ajuntament (City Hall) is also situated, sits one of the city’s most original buildings: Can Corbella. Designed by architect Nicolau Lliteres this is a magnificent pre-modernist, neo-Mudéjar building constructed at the end of the 19th century.

Two of its features stand out in particular, one at the top of the building and one at its base: the octagonal tower which crowns the building, and the multi-coloured stained-glass windows framed by horseshoe arches.
