The Arco de la Almudaina, the archway located on the street that gives it its name, is a Gothic construction that stands on the site once occupied by one of the gates to the Roman city. It serves as a gateway to one of the most important streets in the old quarter, as Carrer de l’Almudaina is home to the courtyard of Can Oms and Can Bordils, two of the most impressive courtyards in Palma.

Strategically located among some of the most emblematic places in Palma, for its residents, Almudaina is a street with real magic. The Centre Maimó ben Faraig is also located here, one of Palma’s municipal tourist offices.
